The weather was bad, visibility low,
it just begun snowing minutes before I sighted this curious object. It
was its steady pace, straight-line flight path, and overall controlled
motion, completely at odds with weather conditions, that drew my
attention to it. Wind in particular, coming in gushes from apparently
every direction, argued strongly against balloon or debris as possible
explanation for what looked like a dark silhouette moving slowly, but
steadily, across the sky.
