This is a short capture of a UFO
filmed over West London in the UK on the 23rd of February 2013. Firstly
let me apologies for the poor quality of the video as I was having
great difficulty trying to maintain the focus with the camera I was
using, which is a Canon PowerShot SX150 IS digital camera. It is almost
impossible to maintain a clear shot with a moving object at high
altitudes.
Although this might be the case and is very frustrating for me and no doubt many others too, I thought it best to still archive it publicly anyway.
OK, I had been drawn to an object high in the sky to the east, mid evening around 3pm approximately. At first I thought it was a balloon or soaring group of birds, but had noticed how it climbed upwards in altitude and then just stopped dead for about 4 to 5 seconds, which prompted me to go and grab my camera.
My first attempt to focusing in on the object failed because my viewing device was not seeing anything even though I could see it with the naked eye. But on the second attempt I got lucky somewhat as I had to fully focus out and it just popped in on the viewing device. Unfortunately trying to maintain focus whilst it began moving towards me became a problem, then something amazing had occurred?
It just disappeared! Literally not a sign of anything in the sky, which was frustrating and well, just weird!
Make of it what you will, but I can only wish that I had gotten a clearer image and for longer, any suggestions for a better recording device would be appreciated, all the best, Mark (ufowatchuk.co.uk)
