Spazio: ultima frontiera.

#UFO #UAP Live Stream | Panel Discussion | Viewer call In | Disclosure T...
Hi Thomas, thanks for your show. As you know, after a few days I put it on my blog olivieromannucci.blogspot.com at and it always collects a different number of additional viewers from 180 countries around the world. In your last show, I arrived a few minutes earlier and started greeting those present on the attached chat. I'm sorry I also found an idiot, Tom King, who started making fun of my name and surname. But who does this fool think he is? How dare you? I don't even know him and I've never had anything to do with him. He was your host on the show and I advise him next time not to drink or smoke strange things before going live and you to watch who you invite. I warmely greet you.
Are Paranormal Beliefs and Cognitive Function Linked? ( The Debrief )

A new study shows that those who have paranormal beliefs display “differences or deficits” in cognitive function. No specific pattern or type of dysfunction was correlated with paranormal beliefs. Instead, the study authors observed a wide range of cognitive deficits that seemed to indicate a separate, overriding deficit or dysfunction behind beliefs in the paranormal.
LINK BETWEEN PARANORMAL BELIEFS AND COGNITION PREVIOUSLY SUSPECTED
“For several decades, researchers have examined potential links between cognitive functioning and belief in paranormal phenomena, such as psychokinesis, hauntings, and clairvoyance,” the press release announcing the new study explains. Many of those studies hinted at links between paranormal beliefs and deficits in intelligence or other mental capabilities, but none seemed to find one common link.
To decipher if a link truly exists and what it may mean, a group of U.K researchers decided to study the entire clinical history where the link has been previously observed and see for themselves.
A WIDE RANGE OF COGNITIVE DEFICITS CORRELATED TO PARANORMAL BELIEFS
To conduct their study, project leader Charlotte E. Dean and her colleagues at the University of Hertfordshire, U.K., combed through the history of peer-reviewed literature. They also looked at studies that hadn’t undergone review but were published and even graduate theses, as long as the work examined paranormal beliefs and their link to any area of cognition. The team ultimately selected 70 peer-reviewed papers from this lot and one graduate thesis.
According to the published study, which appeared in the journal PLOS ONE, the selected studies looked at six categories of cognitive function. These include “(1) perceptual and cognitive biases, (2) reasoning, (3) intelligence, critical thinking, and academic ability, (4) thinking style, (5) executive function and memory, and (6) other cognitive functions.”
The strongest link found across the largest number of studies was something researchers term an intuitive thinking style. Someone with this thinking style is more likely to ignore facts and go with feelings.
Researchers found other associations as well.
For example, in one study, “paranormal believers were more prone to illusory agency detection than skeptics, being biased towards ‘yes’ responses when no agent was present.” In short, paranormal believers were more likely to believe someone was pulling the strings of specific standardized tests when the test operations were completely random.
In another study, researchers “exposed participants to a magic performance and asked whether it was accomplished through (1) paranormal, psychic, or supernatural powers, (2) ordinary magic trickery, or (3) religious miracles.” In this study, confirmation bias (i.e., explaining the magic performance in terms of paranormal powers) was associated with higher levels of paranormal beliefs.
The study also noted a recent “representative survey” of paranormal beliefs in the U.K., which showed that 33% believe in the paranormal, and another 21% are unsure. Of those who either believed or were unsure, 40% said: “they had seen or felt the presence of a supernatural entity.”
In their findings, the U.K team noted that most of the studies rated as either good or excellent quality, with only one shown to have poor methods or study controls. “The review found that most of the 71 studies were of good methodological quality and that quality has improved over time,” the release explains, “for instance, most had clear objectives and appropriate study designs.”
However, the study authors note, “certain areas for improvement emerged; for instance, many studies lacked a discussion of their own methodological limitations, and undergraduate students made up a large portion of study participants, meaning that the findings may not necessarily apply to the general population.”
The researchers also note that while their meta-study found a wide range of cognitive deficits associated with paranormal beliefs, no one deficit stood out above the others.
“Our narrative synthesis indicates high heterogeneity of study findings,” the paper reads. “The most consistent associations emerge for paranormal beliefs with increased intuitive thinking and confirmatory bias, and reduced conditional reasoning ability and perception of randomness.”

The DoD’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Office Was Recently Hiring ( The Debrief )

Do you have a defiant curiosity for the mysterious and a yearning to investigate “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAP), more commonly known as UFOs?
If so, the Office of the U.S Director for National Intelligence (ODNI) might have had the perfect job for you.
Recently, DNI posted job vacancies for Senior Analysis Lead and Collection Lead in the Department of Defense’s Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG).
According to the postings, the Senior Analysis Lead and Collection Lead will “synchronize intelligence analysis and reporting on behalf of the Director of the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG).” The roles will also ensure the coordination across multiple government agencies, “with regard to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena reporting and analysis.”
The job openings come as part of the government’s attempt to take the issue of unexplained and mysterious objects seen flying around military airspace more seriously. However, unfortunately, if you’re not already working in the U.S. Intelligence Community and holding an active Top Secret//SCI clearance, you need not apply. Even then, you might be too late.

In November 2022, the Department of Defense announced the establishment of AOIMSG, serving as a verbosely titled successor to the Navy’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF).
The announcement of a permanent UAP investigative body coincided with a memo by Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks outlining the potential flight safety risk posed by UAP and the need for standardized reporting on UAP incidents.
The establishment of AOIMSG also served as an attempt to get ahead of legislation earlier
proposed by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Marco Rubio (R-FL)
titled “Establishment of Structure and Authorities to Address
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.” In addition to outlining measures the
DoD should take to investigate UAP, the proposed Bill ordered the
establishment of a permanent “Anomaly Surveillance and Resolution
Office.”
In December, a slightly watered-down version of the Gillibrand-Rubio amendment was passed as part of the FY 2022 National Defense Authorization Act. And for the first time in history, the investigation of UAP or UFOs became a matter of federally mandated law.

According to ODNI, the senior analyst and collection lead positions will help synchronize AOIMSG’s analytic efforts with key members of the DoD, Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), and the Intelligence Community (IC).
The job posting names explicitly the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and the National Security Agency (NSA) in its description of “key members.”
The positions will also “establish processes and procedures to ensure that reported anomalous objects are analyzed by subject matter experts in appropriate intelligence disciplines.”
To meet the minimum qualifications for either position, an applicant must have “an academic and/or work history grounded in intelligence, intelligence-related activities, and functional areas with an emphasis on all-source data analysis and associated tools,” along with “subject matter expertise in intelligence analysis standards, all-source analysis, and intelligence production.”
Both roles are listed as GG/GS-15 positions, which is the highest General Schedule pay grade for civilian federal employees, just below the high-ranking civil service positions of the Senior Executive Service (SES). In established DoD order of government, the GS-15 position is equivalent to the military rank of Colonel, with a base salary between $112,890 to $146,757 annually. Applicants must have an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance to be eligible.
Assuredly, there are many avocation UAP investigators and UFO enthusiasts who would likely jump at the opportunity to join the government’s formal UAP investigations group. The majority of whom have been saying for decades that the topic of UAP needed to be taken seriously.
Unfortunately, however, the current job vacancies to join AOIMSG are listed as part of ODNI’s Joint Duty Program and only open to individuals already working at one of the 17 federal agencies of the U.S. Intelligence Community.
Established in 2004, the Joint Duty Program works to foster cross-agency expertise and interagency cooperation by allowing members of the intelligence community to serve in temporary rotational assignments with other agencies or programs that fall under ODNI.
According to the announcement, the tour length with AOIMSG for either position would be set at 24 months.
Even if you are an interested intelligence community member, you still might be out of luck. According to the job postings, the closing date to apply for either position ended on April 15, 2022. Moreover, the vacancy announcement lists the start date for the jobs as 4/26/2022.
However, ODNI policy says a candidate’s parent agency must approve the temporary duty assignment, and both jobs are still listed as “Joint Duty Rotational Assignment” vacancies on the DNI’s website. So perhaps, all might not be lost.
According to a recent report by Politico,
after members of the Senate Intelligence and Armed Services committees
received their first congressionally mandated briefing, lawmakers were
reportedly less than pleased with the DoD’s efforts to examine UAP
incidents.
“Rubio is definitely frustrated…They are not moving fast enough, not doing enough, not sharing enough,” one of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s aides told Politico’s, Bryan Bender.
So who knows. Perhaps, with continued pressure from Congress, some more vacancies at the DoD’s UAP investigative office could be on the horizon.
