Cynics continually try to explain away these events, while eyewitnesses couldn't be more certain of what they've seen. The most notorious UFO sightings in the world give backing to that when wondering if aliens are real, the answer may just be yes.
In 1947, a civilian pilot was flying past Washington's
Mount Rainier when he reported that nine blue, glowing objects flew past
him in a V formation, traveling at a speed of 1700 mph, according to History.
While he first believed the flying objects to be military-owned, the
government stated that no one had been near Mount Rainier that day.
Following his description of the blue, glowing objects as "a saucer if
you skip it across water," the phrase flying saucer was popularized.
2. Lights in the Rendlesham forest

The Telegraph
reported that on December 26, 1980, sections of the United States Air
Force were stationed at a Royal Air Force military base near Suffolk,
England. That day two members went into the forest where they claim to
seen a craft of sorts that was covered in letters that resembled
hieroglyphs. Floor markings and tree damage were also present in the
area.
Then, two days later, other military personnel said they
experienced the same thing, this time armed with a recording device. On
December 28, it was reported that a bright red light occurred, followed
by a craft crashing into the forest. An Air Force commander then went up
to the craft and supposedly encountered an alien of sorts. The Ministry
of Defense completely denies these occurrences.
In 1990, six weeks before Germany was set to become a
united nation, a mysterious incident took place over the Greifswald
power plant. According to The Local, seven green lights appeared in a line,
hovering above the area. Staying visible for about 30 minutes, some
believed this to be a protest against the upcoming reunification.
However, there was no proof of anyone taking such actions and many
viewers believe it was due to extraterrestrials. This incident has
become known as "the Greifswald Lights."
4. The ultimate cover up in Roswell

Today, a visit to Roswell,
New Mexico includes the International UFO Museum and Research Center,
an annual UFO festival, and eating at a McDonald's designed to look like
a spaceship. So, how did Roswell become the heart of UFO intrigue?
In 1947, a rancher was examining his pastures when he encountered a
series of debris such as metallic rods and chunks of plastic. When
soldiers from the Roswell Army Air Force Base where called in to
retrieve the wreckage, headlines claimed that it was a cover up of a
crashed UFO. In 1997, the government admitted to a cover up, but not of a
flying saucer. History
reports that in a report titled "Case Closed: Final Report on the
Roswell Crash," the government stated that the debris was part of a top
secret project using high-altitude balloons to check for nuclear tests
done by the Soviets.
In 2007, The Times of India
released an article stating that several people had witnessed a flying
object soaring over Kolkata, India. It claimed that the object was able
to morph its shape, changing from spherical to triangular with ease. The
paper reached out to specialists to determine what the sight could have
been but they were unable to provide any insight.
6. When Texas lost electricity

Inspiring the film, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," in 1957, witnesses across Levelland, Texas claimed to have seen a series of lights in the night sky, according to History.
Not only that, but following their presence cars went haywire with
lights turning off and engines crashing. The local police also saw the
lights, leading to an investigation by the Air Force's UFO research
group. It was determined that an electrical storm was to blame for the
occurrences, however there were no reports of storms in the area that
night.
Back in September of 1970, a Royal Air Force pilot was
flying over the North Sea when it was reported that he spotted some sort
of object hovering over the water in front of him. According to The
Telegraph, he went to see what the object could be,
but shortly after radio communication was lost with the aircraft.
Eventually, the plane was found in the North Sea, however, the hatch was
closed with the pilot was nowhere to be found. But, files found later
maintain that the crash was the result of an accident.
In 2001, residents in New Jersey spotted
and orange and yellow lights around midnight flying in a "V" formation,
according to History. It's still unclear what could have caused the
lights, as air traffic controllers denied that jets and various other
aircrafts could have caused the lights, according to History.
In September 1951, residents in Lubbock, Texas were allegedly treated to a lights show
for several weeks in the night sky, according to Texas Highways. The
accounts and photos made national headlines, and people were initially
baffled at what they could be - blaming everything from meteors to a
hoax.
The Air Force later explained that the lights were likely
due to the reflections from the underside of planes. But to this day,

BIZARRE footage has emerged that proves alien technology is being tested
by the US military at Area 51, according to wild claims online.
The video, captured on a motorway in Nevada, US, shows the moment one man made an outrageous discovery.
On the back of a truck being followed by a van marked "overload" appears to be a flying saucer.
It
was spotted on Intersection 15 – a road that leads to the notorious
Homey Airport and Groom Lake dubbed Area 51 by sky watchers.
The
clip was originally uploaded to YouTube channel M Battle, but has gained
popularity after being shared on conspiracy site thirdphaseofmoon.
The video, which attempts to explain the strange event, has now racked up more than 22,000 hits.
And viewers were quick to share their thoughts.
One comment read: "As if the government would let us see their secret projects – it must have been for UFO day."
Another added: "I think it's a movie prop – if it was a real UFO they would have covered it up."
But a third claimed: "Probably being transported to Area 51 for immediate testing." By

Seventy years after the sighting that started it all, what are unidentified flying objects and where do they come from?
Today is World UFO Day,
when UFO enthusiasts around the world celebrate that strange phenomenon
and remind the public that many mysteries remain unsolved. A whole 71
years after the sighting that kicked off the worldwide UFO craze, we are
still no closer to
determining what exactly causes hundreds of thousands of people to
believe they have been witnesses to flying saucers.
The History of “Flying Saucers”
On
June 24th 1947, civilian pilot Kenneth Arnold was flying his private
airplane over the Pacific Northwest when he suddenly realized he was not
alone in the skies. Near Mt. Rainier, Washington Arnold spotted
“nine objects, glowing bright bluish-white” flying nearby. Eight of the
objects were roughly disc-shaped, while the ninth larger object
resembled a crescent. The nine objects were flying in a v-shaped
formation.
Arnold estimated the craft were
flying somewhere around 1,200 miles an hour and that he was witnessing a
military exercise. He also compared their motion to a “saucer if you
skipped it across water.” The objects obviously did not resemble any
known aircraft and at the time there were no aircraft capable of flying
in formation at Mach 1.5—Chuck Yeager would break the sound barrier only two months later.
The press misconstrued the “saucer” comment,
applying it to their physical description, and the term flying saucer
was born. Obviously, since the objects were beyond the ability of
humans, newly minted UFO experts declared the objects had to be from
space and evidence of life on other planets. Though in strict terms, a
UFO is merely a mysterious flying craft and so is not inherently tied to
the idea of visiting aliens.
"Could other stars
harbor other forms of life, and could they be more advanced than ours?"
If there are aliens, UFO thinkers speculated, it would stand to reason
that at least some of them are millennia more advanced than we are,
leaping across the universe in the blink of an eye.
Back when Kenneth Arnold’s sighting over the
Pacific Northwest triggered a flying saucer mania, with flying saucers
reported worldwide, the fast pace of technological development which saw
the U.S. go from subsonic propeller-driven to supersonic jet-powered
fighters and a military based on conventional to nuclear weapons in less
than ten years drove an intense interest in UFOs. The U.S. was also set
to push into space with the establishment of NASA and the eventual goal
of reaching the moon. Anything seemed possible, so why not aliens?
In
the 1970s, as environmental problems mounted, trust in government
decreased and the threat of nuclear war loomed, the emphasis shifted to
reports of face-to-face contact with alien species, many of which were
apparently unhappy with how humans were ruining the planet.
In
the 1990s this narrative of direct interaction grew to its most
extreme, with thousands reporting that they had been “abducted” by
aliens, who then performed medical experiments.
Is the Government Hiding Something?
If
you take these experiences to be even remotely true, the logic leads
you to an inevitable conclusion: The U.S. government knows far more than
it lets on about flying saucers. One conviction among UFOlogists is
that the U.S. government not only knows more about aliens than it lets
on, but that actively cooperates with them. According to some conspiracy
theories, the federal government, particularly the national security
apparatus, allows aliens to maintain underground bases, such as the one
allegedly underneath Dulce, New Mexico, or in the mountain next to the
famous Area 51 in Nevada.
Another, more plausible theory
is that a secret arm of the U.S. government achieved a technological
breakthrough to the point where its craft are mistaken for the work of
aliens. This technology, proponents explain, is so advanced the
government is keeping it under wraps. Still, if Kenneth Arnold had seen
top-secret military aircraft in the 1940s, why does the U.S. military
not have anything like his “flying saucers” 70 years later?
The military's engagement with flying saucers isn't just conspiratorial. In December 2017, The New York Times published an account involving U.S. Navy fighter pilots and their encounter with unidentified flying objects. The encounter,
which took place in 2004, involved UFOs sighted on radar, by pilots
themselves, and actual video of the mysterious objects. Six months later
the account was followed up by another, also involving Navy pilots, that reportedly took place in 2015.
The
Navy sightings were some of the best accounts in decades, and involved
some of the most highly trained pilots and advanced sensors in service
anywhere. If the objects involved in the sightings were real and were
not U.S. government property their technological superiority could be a
real threat to our national security.
Yet
despite all of this the Navy has offered no explanation for the events
and appears disinterested in investigating the matter further.

The Suspicious Decline
The
Navy's UFO interaction is notable in large part because it is the
exception that proves the rule of modern UFO sighting trends: They're
just not happening so much despite the fact that the smartphone
revolution should ostensibly increasing sightings if UFOs exist.
Every
single day, hundreds of millions of people are carrying a high quality
camera in their pockets but there has been no corresponding explosion in
UFO photos or video. The connected nature of the internet and social
media allows ordinary people to reach a wide audience, but interest in
talking about so-called “alien abductions” has dropped precipitously in
the last ten years.
Even in the face of those seemingly obvious facts,
it can be tough to shake the uncanny experience of seeing the
explainable with your own eyes. In May of 1987 on an overnight trip to
the San Francisco State University Sierra Nevada Campus at Yuba Pass, California with my high school biology class, it happened to me.
After
curfew, about a dozen of us decided to climb a nearby tree-covered
ridge and sat in silence, taking in the clean, cool night air and the
twinkling stars above.
Then, someone saw it, and
pointed it out to us all. It was a white, blinking light not unlike a
satellite visible from Earth, but brighter. It was moving faster than
anything I had ever seen before. But the real shock came when it made
two sets of three zig-zagging turns, like a cue ball hitting the side of
a pool table. Then it vanished over the horizon in seconds.
So
what was it? I've asked myself over and over. Was it a classified
military aircraft? At the time the F-117A Nighthawk, the world’s first
stealth fighter was highly classified
but we now know the aircraft regularly flew at night from Area 51 in
Nevada over nearby Lake Tahoe, using its electro-optical targeting
systems to pinpoint individual boats on the lake for target practice.
Still,
F-117s—or any other publicly known aircraft in the past thirty
years—are incapable of the maneuvers I saw that night. It was impossible
to tell the object’s speed and altitude. If it was a high-flying
aircraft, it was moving much faster than anything with the possible
exception of the SR-71 Blackbird—and the SR-71 couldn’t pull off turns
like that. If it was flying low we should have heard engines—and a sonic
boom—but the encounter was totally silent.
Thirty one years later, all I know was that I saw a flying object and I could not and cannot identify it.
The State of UFOs Today
Today,
71 years after Kenneth Arnold’s sighting, we are still no closer to the
truth behind the UFO phenomenon. There is a real phenomenon, but
whether it is based in mass hallucinations, secret government aircraft,
or actual beings from another planet is still up in the air.
James Abbott, author of The Outsider’s Guide to UFOs,
says, “For anyone with a truly open mind, the a priori case for UFOs as
a scientific anomaly is firmly established. We do not have a good
understanding of what the inexplicable sightings are, but the numbers,
credibility of observations, and the lack of satisfactory scientific
explanation in many cases, mean that we have to start looking at the
phenomenon as a scientific problem; one which must be given long-term,
serious scientific attention.”
On the other side
of the fence is the bulk of scientific community, many of which are
unconvinced. Skeptics believe that extraordinary claims, from claims of
aliens to government aircraft that can make abrupt 90 degree turns in
violation of the laws of physics, require extraordinary proof. This is
not an unreasonable demand but it also, given the lack of accumulated
evidence over the better part of a century, seems unlikely to be
fulfilled anytime soon.
Much like the phenomenon that lends its name, the movie, UFO, is making its upcoming arrival in a stealthy manner.
While the story of UFO centers on a duo of college students – played by Alex Sharp and Ella Purnell – who become ensnared in the mystery of some UFO sightings, the film also touts a co-star who’s well-acquainted with the titular topic in The X-Files star Gillian Anderson.
The UFO trailer centers on
brilliant-but-academically-challenged Derek (Alex Sharp), who becomes
fixated on recent reports of airport sighting of UFOs, primarily
motivated by a childhood experience. While the professor whose class
he’s failing, Dr. Hendricks (Gillian Anderson) reacts to Derek’s
findings with Scully-like skepticism, his girlfriend, Natalie (Ella
Purnell) is onboard to help his investigation. However, Derek’s meddling
puts him on the radar of FBI agent Franklin Ahls (David Strathairn),
who could potentially silence the truth (which is out there). UFO is written and directed by Ryan Eslinger, whose previous written/directorial efforts include the upcoming Colorless Green, 2009’s Daniel and Abraham, 2007’s When a Man Falls and 2003’s Madness and Genius.
Joining Eslinger are producers Jeffery Sharp, Tom Rice and Evan Hayes,
along with executive producers Jim Kohlberg, Siegfried Harris and Dan
Kaplow. Story Mining and Supply Co. (of TV’s Outlander,) is producing with Sony Pictures handling worldwide distribution.

La collina di Pian dei Giullari con l'osservatorio astronomico di Arcetri
L'avvistamento, è avvenuto mentre i due testimoni, intorno alle 10.15 ( e quindi in pieno giorno )percorrevano la Tosco Romagnola tra Pontassieve e Firenze ( località non nuova ad avvistamenti UFO). Giunti all'altezza del semaforo di via Pian di Ripoli, guardando verso la collina di Pian dei Giullari vedono il primo UFO. Arrivati al ponte Giovanni Falcone, lungo via Marco Polo, avvistano il secondo UFO, molto più grande e vicino del primo, sempre di forma cilindrica e apparenza metallica come il primo. L'UFO in questione, sembrava volesse atterrare, poi giunto al livello dei tetti delle case si è allontanato rapidamente verso l'alto sino a divenire un piccolo punto luminoso. Grazie a tutti coloro che la sera del 30 Giugno hanno partecipato alla bellissima serata astronomica tenutasi vicino alla cupola di S. Michele di Semifonte, nei pressi di Barberino Val d'Elsa. Il meteo era quasi perfetto e ci ha permesso di osservare Venere, Giove, Saturno, la Luna e Marte. Sono intervenute persone da vicino e da lontano. Qualcuno è addirittura arrivato con tutta la famiglia da Quarrata, in provincia di Pistoia, nonostante una faticosa giornata di lavoro sulle spalle. Qualcun altro, il giorno dopo, aveva degli impegni e doveva svegliarsi presto, ma è rimasto sino alla fine. Insomma, sono venute tutte persone serie, no come alcuni che mi dicono : Quando fai la serata astronomica avvertimi! - eppoi non vengono mai. Organizzare un serata astronomica comporta un grande impegno, ce la preparazione degli strumenti, la preparazione della scaletta degli oggetti da vedere e poi devo mandare e mail ed sms a tante persone, e questo, ha anche un costo. Dopo tre avvisi, chi non si presenta mai in maniera ingiustificata, non verrà più avvisato e 'sfanculato. Quindi, mai come in questo caso vale il detto: uomo avvisato, mezzo salvato. Trent'anni fa il mondo scopriva il riscaldamento globale grazie al discorso di James Hansen, che oggi parla di "pochi progressi'
TRENT'ANNI fa il mondo "scopriva" i
cambiamenti climatici, ma tutto questo tempo è passato inutilmente, e il
problema è ben lontano dall'essere risolto. Ad affermarlo è James Hansen,
l'ex scienziato della Nasa che in un famoso discorso al Congresso
americano il 23 giugno del 1988 per la prima volta sostenne in un
contesto ufficiale che c'era la certezza "al 99%" che l'innalzamento
delle temperature fosse dovuto alle attività dell'uomo. Il discorso di
Hansen ebbe una grande risonanza sui media negli Usa e nel resto del
mondo, portando per la prima volta alla ribalta il concetto stesso di
"climate change" che fino ad allora era rimasto confinato nel mondo
scientifico.
"Da allora però tutto quello che abbiamo fatto è dichiarare che c'è un problema - afferma Hansen, che ora ha 77 anni, al Guardian
-. Siamo stati d'accordo nel dichiararlo nel 1992 a Rio, e lo abbiamo
ribadito a Parigi nel 2015. Ma non abbiamo accettato di fare ciò che è
necessario per risolverlo. Promesse come quelle fatte a Parigi non
vogliono dire nulla, sono una pia illusione, una bufala che i governi ci
hanno propinato fin dagli anni '90".
Secondo Hansen nessun leader degli ultimi decenni ha fatto abbastanza
per il problema, compresi Angela Merkel o Barack Obama, che a detta
dello scienziato non hanno stabilito per i propri paesi obiettivi
sufficientemente ambiziosi. Dai tempi del suo discorso, nota
nell'intervista, le emissioni di CO2 sono passate da 20 miliardi di
tonnellate l'anno ai 32 miliardi attuali, e i tagli promessi non sono
sufficienti a mantenere l'innalzamento della temperatura sotto i due
gradi entro fine secolo.
"Non c'è salvezza senza una tassa sui combustibili fossili - sottolinea
Hansen -. La soluzione non è complicata. Le emissioni non scenderanno se
il costo dei combustibili fossili non sarà onesto. Gli economisti sono
molto chiari su questo, abbiamo bisogno di una tassa progressivamente
sempre più alta".
Sulla luna di Saturno Encelado
ci sono i requisiti per l'esistenza di vita. Non significa che ci siano
sicuramente forme di vita, ma che questa opzione sulla carta è
possibile. A trarre queste conclusioni sono stati gli scienziati del
Southwest Research Institute, alla luce di nuove analisi effettuate sui
dati raccolti dalla sonda Cassini della NASA.
Non è la prima volta che uno studio giunge a questa conclusione, già nel 2017 la NASA annunciò
che su Encelado potrebbero esistere condizioni favorevoli per lo
sviluppo della vita. In entrambi i casi il merito va prima di tutto a
Cassini, la sonda spaziale che per 12 anni ha esplorato il sistema di
Saturno raccogliendo dati di grande rilevanza scientifica. Ricordiamo
infatti che prima di Cassini Saturno veniva osservato quasi
esclusivamente da Terra, con l'eccezione delle immagini e dei dati
raccolti dalle sonde Pioneer 11 e Voyager 1 e Voyager 2,
che effettuarono dei flyby del pianeta. In 12 anni la sonda ha percorso
circa 2.2 miliardi di miglia dal suo arrivo e ha raccolto circa 600 GB
di dati, scoperto 10 lune, inviato circa 380.000 immagini.Fra le scoperte più rilevanti figurano proprio i getti di materiale ghiacciato alla velocità di circa 400 m/s e che si estendono per centinaia di miglia nello Spazio. Materiale che fuoriesce da strutture situate in corrispondenza del polo Sud di Encelado note come "Tiger stripes".
Cassini ha campionato il materiale di cui è composto il pennacchio
mediante l'analizzatore di polveri cosmiche (CDA, Cosmic Dust Analyzer) e
lo spettrometro di massa Ion and Neutral Mass Spectrometer (INMS), che
hanno effettuato misurazioni sia all'interno del pennacchio
sia nell'anello E (E-ring) di Saturno, composto da particelle di
ghiaccio che fuoriescono dal pennacchio e che sfuggono alla gravità di
Encelado.
Come spesso accade, anche se la missione è conclusa gli scienziati
continuano per anni ad analizzare e i dati, ed è proprio dall'analisi
più recente dei dati della spettrometria di massa, pubblicata il 27
giugno 2018, che risulta la presenza di "grandi molecole organiche ricche di carbonio".
Secondo gli scienziati potrebbero essere collegate alle reazioni
chimiche che avvengono tra il fondo roccioso dell'oceano sommerso,
contenete minerali e materiali organici, e l'acqua calda dell'oceano
stesso.
Uno degli autori dello studio, Christopher Glein, ha spiegato che "i
gruppi di lavoro di INMS e CDA hanno collaborato per comprendere la
chimica organica dell'oceano sommerso di Encelado meglio di quanto
sarebbe possibile lavorando con un solo set di dati".L'ipotesi è che i processi idrotermali attivi possano sintetizzare
composti organici dai precursori inorganici, oppure che possano essere
frutto della trasformazione di sostanze preesistenti mediante
riscaldamento, oppure ancora che i processi idrotermali generino
condizioni geochimiche nell'oceano di Encelado che consentirebbero a
possibili forme di vita aliena di sintetizzare molecole biologiche.È chiaro che si tratta di ipotesi, e dato che due indizi non fanno una prova, non possiamo concludere che questo studio, unito a quello precedente,
basti per affermare che su Encelado ci siano forme di vita. Però basta
per sospettare che questa possibilità esista, e quindi suffragare l'idea
di inviare missioni ad hoc per prelevare campioni e portarli sulla Terra da analizzare.
Glein ha spiegato che gli scienziati sono "ancora una volta spiazzati
da Encelado: in precedenza avevamo identificato solo le molecole
organiche più semplici, contenenti alcuni atomi di carbonio, è già
questo era molto intrigante [...] Ora abbiamo trovato molecole organiche
con masse superiori a 200 unità di massa atomica:
dieci volte più pesanti del metano. Con molecole organiche complesse
che fuoriescono dall'oceano di acqua liquida, questa luna è l'unico
corpo oltre alla Terra noto per soddisfare simultaneamente tutti i
requisiti di base per l'esistenza della vita come la conosciamo".
A questo punto non resta che sperare che venga presto progettato e spedito nello Spazio un veicolo spaziale dotato di uno spettrometro di massa ad alta risoluzione,
che volando attraverso il pennacchio di Encelado sia in grado di
analizzare le complesse molecole organiche che sono state rilevate e
restituisca dati sufficienti per determinare come si sono formate".
Non manca il dovuto appello alla cautela: la Scienza procede per
accumulazione; siamo davanti a dati interessanti che riscontrano ipotesi
già fatte in precedenza, ma la proverbiale pistola fumante, la prova
inoppugnabile, manca ancora.
Internet? Esisteva già duemila anni fa. Lo ha sostenuto, durante un
discorso in pubblico, Biplab Deb, ministro dello stato di Tripura, in
India. Secondo il politico, la prova sta negli antichi testi epici
scritti in sanscrito come ad esempio il Mahabharata, nel quale un re
seduto nel suo palazzo viene informato in tempo reale dell’esito di una
battaglia: possibile, è la conclusione del ministro indiano, solo con la
presenza di satelliti per le telecomunicazioni e della rete.
Affermazioni che proprio il popolo della rete ha poi ridicolizzato e
sbeffeggiato. Ma Biplab Deb non è il primo personaggio di spicco indiano
a rivendicare per la propria nazione il merito di aver ideato
tecnologie che riteniamo frutto dell’era moderna.
Lo stesso premier Modi, nel 2014, aveva affermato (sempre citando passi
tratti dai testi vedici) che le tecniche per la riproduzione assistita e
la chirurgia estetica sono state inventate in India svariati millenni
fa. Frasi che suonano assurde a molti di noi, ma che appaiono del tutto
logiche invece a chi conosce a fondo la cultura millenaria del gigante
asiatico.
“In realtà ogni aspetto pratico, tecnologico e scientifico era già noto
nelle civiltà precedenti. I Purāna indiani lo provano ampiamente. È solo
a causa di un pregiudizio europeo e colonialista che la storia, nelle
scuole, viene raccontata in modo distorto”, spiega infatti Valentino
Bellucci, esperto di questi testi affascinanti. “Nelle antichissime
civiltà erano presenti conoscenze mediche e scientifiche avanzatissime
(basterebbe studiare la medicina ayurvedica). Per quanto riguarda la
procreazione assistita consiglio la lettura del Bhagavata-Purāna, in
particolare i primi Canti. Il lettore troverà descritta una società
avanzata tecnologicamente e spiritualmente. Un episodio narra
addirittura una clonazione umana ad opera dei sacerdoti per poter avere
un Re migliore, dopo la morte dell’ultimo sovrano ( Nascita di Re
Pŗithu, Bhagavata-Purāna, Canto 4, cap. 14-15)
Laureato in filosofia e in sociologia, Bellucci è docente di storia e
filosofia in un liceo ed ha seguito un percorso personale di
approfondimento di tematiche legate all’antropologia e alle dinamiche
sociali. Grazie all’incontro col grande orientalista Icilio Vecchiotti,
conoscitore del sanscrito e dei testi vedici, si è avvicinato a questo
straordinario patrimonio culturale. “Il mio primo approccio è di tipo
storico-critico, che mi ha permesso di scindere le parti allegoriche e
pedagogiche da quelle storiche e scientifiche. Il secondo è quello
tradizionale ed iniziatico (essendo un praticante di bhakti-yoga) che mi
ha permesso di accedere ai contenuti spirituali più intimi dei testi.
Entrambi gli approcci sono necessari se si desidera cogliere in pieno
questo corpus di testi unici nella storia umana. Una lettura letterale è
del tutto insufficiente e fuorviante.”
IL PROFESSORE VALENTINO BELLUCCI
Leggendo e analizzando gli antichi testi indiani con queste due
metodiche complementari l’una all’altra, il professor Bellucci si è
convinto che molti millenni prima di Cristo in India sia fiorita una
raffinata civiltà, dotata di conoscenze molto approfondite in ogni
ambito della scienza e con nozioni tecnologiche persino superiori a
quelle attuali. “In realtà la nostra scienza non esisterebbe neppure
senza il sistema dei numeri indiani (che gli arabi portarono in Europa) e
senza lo zero. Secoli prima di Copernico e di Galilei gli astronomi
indiani avevano già dimostrato e calcolato l’orbita della Terra attorno
al Sole e la forza di gravità”, assicura.
“Architettura, ingegneria e macchine per volare in cielo e nello spazio
erano già presenti in queste civiltà indiane. In tutto il mondo ci sono
tracce di città la cui architettura denota profonde conoscenze fisiche e
matematiche. Nei Purāna le macchine per volare sono spesso citate e in
altri testi minori viene descritto il loro funzionamento nel dettaglio.”
Insomma, i Vimana, di cui molto si è detto e molto si è scritto. In
India, ci sono docenti universitari, chimici, ingegneri al lavoro per
riprodurre le leghe metalliche e i materiali da costruzione indicati nei
Veda con i quali poi realizzare gli aerei e le astronavi
dell’antichità. Ma la sapienza indiana sarebbe depositaria di saperi
ancora più avanzati.
UN ESEMPIO DI VIMANA
“Nel mio saggio La saggezza di Shiva ho tentato di mostrare, in sintesi,
quanta conoscenza scientifica avanzata fosse già presente nei Purāna”,
afferma infatti il professor Bellucci. “La biologia, la fisica
quantistica, la relatività del tempo… Sono tutti aspetti già presenti in
questi testi meravigliosi. In particolare i Purāna descrivevano già
l’esistenza di altre galassie e di altri universi oltre il nostro
(infiniti universi materiali), cosa che di recente solo la fisica delle
stringhe ha osato fare. Ma l’aspetto notevole, a mio avviso, consiste
nel fatto che tale conoscenza del mondo materiale non è fine a se stessa
ma è legata ad una, ben superiore, conoscenza dei mondi spirituali e
del divino, oltre ogni dogma delle religioni che noi conosciamo in
Europa”.
IL SAGGIO SCRITTO DAL PROF. BELLUCCI
Prosegue Valentino Bellucci: “La spiritualità era, nelle antiche
civiltà, qualcosa di scientifico e di pratico. Ora sto lavorando ad
altri saggi per divulgare questa conoscenza unica e preziosa. In
particolare uscirà presto un mio saggio sulla Psicologia dello yoga e
sto inoltre curando un testo straordinario dedicato alla filosofia
indiana del Shankya, che darà al lettore molti strumenti per analizzare
meglio concetti come karma e reincarnazione, spesso mal compresi”. Ma
se davvero migliaia di anni fa, esisteva una scienza così evoluta,
superiore per certi aspetti a quella attuale, chi ne è stato l’artefice?
“È una domanda fondamentale. Questa conoscenza non è ritenuta di
origine umana”, ammette il professore.
“Lo stesso filosofo Schopenhauer considerava tali testi sovrumani. Nei
Purāna infatti si fa riferimento alle civiltà di altri pianeti e agli
scambi avvenuti tra questi mondi ed il nostro. I Deva sono gli esseri
divini dei pianeti superiori che hanno donato a noi solo una piccola
parte della conoscenza universale. La stessa lingua sanscrita è
considerata la lingua degli dèi, una lingua cosmica, origine e radice di
ogni lingua oggi esistente. Ma è bene ricordare che gli stessi Deva
fanno riferimento al Dio/Dea supremo che ha emanato gli universi e che
ha donato questa conoscenza ai primi esseri del cosmo…Invito i lettori
ad andare oltre i confini della cultura e della storia ufficiale, poiché
vi sono ben altre cose da scoprire, per la mente e per l’anima.”
Commento di Oliviero Mannucci: Avevo segnalato questo bel libro già alcuni mesi fa su questo blog. Ho avuto a che fare spesso con molti imbecilli che quando gli parlo dei Veda e della millenaria conoscenza contenuta all'interno di essi, si sentono in diritto di contestare queste antiche scritture, senza neanche averle mai studiate. Ma del resto che cosa ci si può aspettare da persone che sono ammaestrate a credere solo alle versioni ufficiali loro propinate dalla scienza ufficiale?
