The famous anomaly of the Baltic Sea is known as a formation or an object similar to that of a flat mushroom of about sixty meters in diameter, detected at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. It has also been defined as “UFO of the Baltic Sea”. The formation or object was discovered by tracking sonar on June 19, 2011. The discovery took place somewhere, but the exact location of the Baltic Sea bottom, where the mysterious object is located, was never disclosed. which should however be found between the border waters of Sweden and Finland. Those responsible for the discovery, Peter Lindberg, Dennis Åsberg and his company Ocean X Team, have received media attention in the past because their exploration on the seabed has allowed the discovery of a B-17 bomber in the United States in 1992 or the recovery of 2400 bottles without opening of Heidsieck & Co Monopoele Gôut Americain, an American champagne of 1907, which reached record prices when put up for auction at Christie’s and is considered the most expensive champagne in the world. However, the famous “Baltic UFO”, according to experts, is nothing more than a deposit on the glacier, a rock formation dragged by the ice over the sea thousands of years ago. This conclusion came to Volker Brüchert, associate professor of Geology at the University of Stockholm, after studying the samples provided by his discoverer, treasure hunter Peter Lindberg, who declined to comment on the news of the anomaly.
Ocean X Team discovers a monolith on the seabed
Researchers comment that at the beginning of June 2019 they discovered an object that looked like a large slab or a kind of monolith, while they were using a small remote-controlled vehicle that was scanning the bottom of the sea. This object will be better analyzed with Radar and other passages in the seabed using a remote-controlled Drone. “It remains therefore to investigate, to deepen this new discovery”, says the Team.
