UFO, elliptic/pill shape object, very reflective, amazing capture 11/07/13 9:13am EST

Best viewed in HD. Miami, FL

First part is from the spotter LG cam, then the following footage was taken from a 114mm Meade, 1000mm focal length. This is an amazing capture of a round pill shape/very reflective object and its movement against the wind.

Part#1(this): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJaIl1...
Part#2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loaWVi...
Part#3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kf1CMi...

Using a modified security camera LG LCB5100 (internal cut-off IR filter removed), and computar motorized zoom lens 16-160mm. A 850nm IR filter is in front of this camera CCD. This LG camera is being used as "finderscope/spotter" for a second PC165DNR camera with 1000mm focal length Meade 114mm reflector scope and 950nm pass IR filter, centering an object of interest in the LG cam FOV will make that object visible on the Celestron FOV that have a lot more magnification, this way is easier to get video closeups of some very rare objects. Both cameras are on top of a PTZ base remotely controlled. Watch an explanation of that setup here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEMZcp...

I added some speed control to the PTZ base using an Arduino board, a solid state switch and a variable resistor.

As I have said it before: there is nothing especial about my location, or any location in particular, I believe that it will be the same in ANY other place, this channel was started with that hypothesis in mind, sightings like this one are confirming that hypothesis. It is up to you to see it with your own eyes and/or your camera.

This channel is starting a how-to series about daylight systematic observations, to make crystal clear how to make these observations, we think that the more people doing it, the more new things will be revealed, we will basically be writing/using "folklore" knowledge. All footage is time stamped in real time, PC synchronized using Dimension 4, so you can assume that the time shown is VERY accurate.

Using iSpy(http://www.ispyconnect.com/) for viewing/recording multiple video signals simultaneously and to overlay on the footage in real time the current date/time of recording.

Disclaimer: Be aware of the meaning of UFO: Unidentified Flying Object, and that is exactly what we are claiming here, nothing more, for us that is the meaning. To make any other claim a more comprehensive study is needed. I am using the label UFO as a reflection of my inability to identify some objects, that may change with further analysis or with more information as has happened before.

We try to be as precise as we can when we make some claims: When we use the label UFO is because we have been unable to identify the object of interest, we always try to look for the standard objects in the sky: man made airplanes/drones, birds, balloons, astronomical objects like the Moon, Venus that are usually the only ones visible in daylight and sometimes satellites like the ISS, but these are very hard to spot in daylight. The more difficult of the standard objects to identify are the balloons because they come in very, very different shapes and materials: but looking to its movement relative to the wind and/or its configuration and movement with high zooming lens you can almost always get an identification. You can always check this channel section: "Visual References" to get and idea of how standard objects look like with the used setup.

I would have preferred not to write the following but it is a fact of life:

"This footage and any footage in the raw video archive is copyrighted for this channel, you can use it, without asking for permission if you use proper credits, and a link back to this post or channel is provided."
