A new witness came forward October 5, 2011, describing an object hovering low over Kansas City, MO, along I-70 at the Route 435 intersection, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
Two previous eyewitness accounts from the same incident were described in: 'Gigantic' boomerang UFO reported low over Missouri's I-70. A Missouri couple and their two kids driving eastbound along I-70 October 4, 2011, reported a "gigantic" and silent boomerang-shaped object with "hundreds of huge, extremely bright lights" hovering above traffic before breaking up into "three separate pieces" and moving away - while a second witness filed an independent account of the event on October 5.
The new witness reports driving along 435 northbound near the I-70 intersection on October 4, 2011, and "noticed what looked like a very bright three lights that were blinking."
"First thought was that it was an airplane," the witness stated, "until we got closer and the object was floating in the sky about 200 feet or less above."
The witness described the object.
"The lights now appeared to have different colors and there were about seven of them in a triangular shape that somewhat looked circular. The object was huge and just hovering above on the right side of the highway."
The witness described the object as hovering very low.
"It felt as if the object was so close that you could touch it."
The witness thought the object was splitting apart as the lights appeared to move away from each other.
"We drove under it and as we were passing it, it appeared to almost split apart - the lights were about 10 feet apart from each other and then they became like 30 feet apart and it started to slowly move further north going along I-70, but with loads of smoke coming from it."
The witness also reports helicopters in the sky at the same time - but the object was silent.
"We watched and seen helicoptors in the sky. At first we wondered if it could of been helicotors flying, but the object was silent - as for the helicoptor we saw earlier, you could hear perfectly."
The witness was aware that other drivers were reacting to the object.
"As we were driving, several cars on the highway were slowing down dramatically as it flew over."
Another recent Missouri case apparently with multiple witnesses occurred on October 3 and 4, 2011, in Lees Summit that was covered in: Two UFO reports describe 'unusual maneuvers' over Lees Summit, Missouri.
A witness driving along Pryor Road about 8:30 p.m. on October 3, 2011, reports an object between 3,000 and 5,000 feet.
"It had many white lights and some green ones. It crossed over the road and continued in a southeast direction maybe another 5-10 miles and then began turning back to the north."
Then on October 4, 2011, a Missouri couple also in Lees Summit and driving along 350 Highway at 470 watched an object they first thought was an airplane make a sharp direction change.
The object "turned completely sideways and showed a vast array of lights - white, green, blue flashing - in a pattern at first, and then quickly pulsating in a random pattern," the reporting witness stated.
The object hovered and then moved again. Lees Summit is about 23 miles southeast of Kansas City, MO.
No photos or videos were included with today's MUFON report, which was filed on October 5, 2011. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
Missouri is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. Missouri had 27 reports in September 2011 - the 8th highest reporting state - while California had 86 UFO reports - the highest reporting state in the nation.

MO, October 4, 2011 - Undescribable UFO KANSAS CITY 8/4/11. MUFON Case # 32357.
My friend and I were heading to downtown kansas city on 435 N, near the I70 exit I noticed what looked like a very bright 3 lights that were blinking (first thought was that it was an airplane) until we got closer and the object was floating in the sky about 200 feet or less above.
The lights now appeared to have different colors and there were about 7 of them in a triangular shape that somewhat looked circular. The objest was HUGE and just hovering above on the right side of the highway. It felt as if the object was so close that you could touch it.
We drove under it and as we were passing it, it appeared to almost split apart (the lights were about 10ft apart from eachother and then they became like 30ft apart and it started to slowly move further north going along I70 but with loads of smoke coming from it.)
We watched and seen helicoptors in the sky. At first we wondered if it could of been helicotors flying but the object was silent as for the helicoptor we saw earlier you could hear perfectly.
As we were driving severeal cars on the highway were slowing down dramatically as it flew over. Please PLEASE Please if anyone knows anything about this please please post something! I am not a believe in UFO's nor Aliens and after seeing this I am in utter awe!
